TBB will be closed for:Thanksgiving Break (Thursday, November 22nd-Friday, November 23rd), Winter Break (December 22nd, 2018-January 6th, 2019), Spring Break (March 10th-17th, 2019), and Memorial Day (Monday, May 27th, 2019)

Adult Class Cards

Class punch cards are only available to students ages 18+. The class cards expire a year after the date purchased, so you have plenty of time to use all of your classes up.

Registration Fee

The annual registration fee is $35 per student and is capped at $60 per immediate family living within the same primary household.

Payment Policy

First and last month are due upon registration. Tuition must be paid via our automatic payment program wherein tuition for the upcoming month will be automatically charged to a credit/debit card on the 15th of the month. If the credit card or bank draft is declined then a $15.00 late fee will be assessed. Tuition is due monthly. Tuition is not prorated for any months. Tuition can not be transferred to another student/family member.There are no refunds or transfers for tuition, for any reason. By the discretion of an office administrator, a store credit may be applied to your account. A TBB Office administrator has the right to determine if you are eligible for store credit or not.

Lobby Etiquette

The Tampa Bay Ballet Lobby is a quiet area for parents to view their children dancing. TBB is not responsible for watching or entertaining other children. Parents and students are expected to respect TBB teachers and staff, other students, and other parents. The lobby door to the studio must remain closed while classes are ongoing, it is disruptive to the class. Any violations of these rules will result in the violator asked to leave. Parents may not enter in classroom without special teacher permission.

Classroom Etiquette

The student must arrive to class on time and dress appropriately according to TBB dress code. Each student must participate in every class for the entire duration and must refrain from excessive absences as it interferes with the development of the body. Cover ups must be worn when entering and exiting the studio. Ballet Leotard or Skirt is not appropriate clothes to wear when entering or exiting the studio. Students who are disruptive to the class or if they are more than 15 minutes late may be asked to observe the remainder of the class. Teachers and TBB staff are not responsible for students before or after class. Therefore, minor students must be escorted in and out of the studio by a parent or legal guardian. Gum, food, drinks, jewelry, and toys are not accepted in class. Dance bags must be brought into the studio with the student and not left in lobby unattended.

How To Withdraw

  • 1. Complete a TBB Withdrawal Form
  • 2. Submit Form to an office adminstrator by 10th of Month (If not completed in time you are still enrolled for class and will be charged for it)

Withdrawal Policy

To withdraw from any TBB class(es), a withdrawal form must be filled out by a parent and turned into TBB staff at the front office. There are no refunds for monies already paid. The withdrawal form needs to be turned in on the 10th of the month to terminate future tuition obligations.

Attendance and Make up Classes

Students should attend classes regularly and must refrain from excessive absences. If the studio is closed there are no make-up classes given, but if a class is cancelled you may make it up. If you must miss a class, you may make-up the class. Make up classes must be made up by May 30th, 2018. If a make-up class is not redeemed by May 30th it is forfeited. If you know you will be missing a class you may make up the class prior to the date you will be missing. You must complete a make-up class form from the TBB office and give it to the instructor at the beginning of class.

Communication

Important information is emailed and posted at the TBB Studio bulletin board. Tampa Bay Ballet’s main form of communication is email. It is the parents’ responsibility to provide a correct email address, please check the one you list is a primary email you check often. 2018 Summer Session

Summer Classes will run from Monday, June 11th, 2018 to Friday, August 31st, 2018 TBB will be closed on July 4th, 2018.
